Back to pencil drawing

Looking through my studio drawers I discovered an old pencil I used to use at school – a well worn 6B that has a very dark lead.
I started drawing shapes on a blank page and giving them form with the shading.
I also purchased a 3B and 5B pencil to add finer detail.

Below is what has evolved from doing a couple of shapes a day :

100 Day Challenge is on!

My friend and I heard about this challenge via facebook, and although it’s closed for this series, we have decided to tag along and do our own version.

You can do anything creative and commit to doing for 100 days – so the challenge is on!

Mine is doodling… something I seem to do when on the phone chatting. So I have decided to expand it out to eventually fill a whole page, doing approx an A7 area size a day and seeing where it goes.

I have used a black ink pen here for day 1:

Doodle Day 1

Maybe I will start another drawing doodle with pencil for shading… mmm no rules here – just have fun!

By the way – my friend is offering a Free Four Coaster Set Giveaway!
